This sculpture was made during my spare time over a month, just before the war against the regime started in February 2026. It features the historic and iconic Lion and Sun as an air-dry clay sculpture surrounded by flowers including red and white tulips and green herbs and eucalyptus plants.
Painted in Gold and copper metallic acrylic paint, with white highlights, the lion stands proud with it’s curved sabre and a memorial candle sitting between it and the sun.
